Proactively Applying Communication Strategy to Key Business Processes
While communicating company strategy and shepherding your company’s reputation and brand are important, they rarely provide immediately tangible financial results for your organization. In this session, you’ll learn how to apply your communication knowledge to solving some of the day-to-day business issues that are keeping your leaders awake at night. Specifically, you’ll learn how to:
- Recognize operational problems in your organization that can be improved at least partly through better communication processes.
- Apply research techniques, such as information flow assessment and network analysis, to identify the communication barriers embedded in business processes that cross departmental or business-unit silos.
- Work with other managers in your organization to dismantle the barriers and build more efficient and effective communication systems into your business processes.
