Simon Frusher - Senior Audio/Visual Manager, BT
With a career in the industry spanning 20 years, Simon has vast experience of many aspects of live visual communication.
Starting life in technical staging, working mainly in corporate events, conferences and roadshows travelling extensively throughout Europe.
Entered corporate life at Reed Publishing, working within the creative department until the lure of the City took him to Barclays Bank and subsequently to BT in 1998 to head the AV department at head office.
Simon led the team to build a hi-tech auditorium and TV studios in 2001 since when an average of 250 events and over 500 videos are produced each year. From broadcast TV links through to delivering over 100 live webcasts per year, Simon is passionate about virtual events, always encouraging new technologies and repackaging old ones to meet the fast paced communications needs of BT to its internal and external audiences
Simon will discuss the use of Video, Podcasts & RSS within BT and how they have been adopted, and how users access this content via the Intranet.
Harvey Benedict - VP Corporate Strategy, Kontiki
Harvey has been in the rich media space for over 15 years delivering advanced communcation solutions to some of the largest enterprises and media companies. Harvey has worked for well recognized technology leaders such as Tech Data, Netcom Online, Broadcast.com/Yahoo and Virage. He also was the founder and principal of Streamline Media, a consulting company providing services to global organizations on rich media strategies. Harvey received his BS in Economics from the University of Florida.

James has been a business journalist for 10 years working on a variety of titles in print and online in the UK and the Gulf, from where he has just returned after spending three and a half years launching a monthly magazine, the region's largest weekly business weekly and the UAE’s newest and most popular daily newspaper (The National) alongside the former editor of the Daily Telegraph, Martin Newland, and a team of 200 journalists.
James joined Melcrum Publishing as its Online Managing Editor in April 2009 to lead the integration as well as write for and manage Melcrum’s website Melcrum.com.
