The trainer
David Ferrabee
David Ferrabee is Managing Director, Change and Internal Communications at Hill & Knowlton UK. The Change and Internal Communication practice provides consulting advice and services to leading businesses across EMEA. In the last 18 months David has trained over 500 senior executives in companies in the UK, Europe and North America.
David manages the team across the practice, bringing together the different skills and disciplines to help our clients address their business issues. He joined H&K in early 2005 and sits on the UK Board.
David works with clients on issues ranging from internal communication and change strategy through to leadership training and employee engagement. His clients are usually looking to gain some kind of competitive advantage by improving communication with and amongst their employees. This can, for example, take the form of employees who are better able to deliver the company’s goals and reflect its values while working with customers. It can mean managers and leaders who are better equipped and motivated to get the most out of their teams. And it can mean companies that need to make fundamental changes to address changing business needs, but want employees to lead or follow quickly behind that change process. Change and internal communication is about better harnessing human potential, and it is about making the best possible use of available tools – including channels and media – to take people forward.
