Overview

What exactly is SharePoint in the context of internal communication?

Starting out with SharePoint can be overwhelming. Whilst its versatility as a fully customisable development platform rather than an "out-of-the-box" product is what makes it such an attractive communication tool, this can also make SharePoint extremely daunting for those with little knowledge or experience in using it.

Whether you’ve just implemented SharePoint, or you’re considering its potential amongst other tools, don’t go any further before attending our one-day introductory SharePoint course.

Your trainer, Sam Marshall, will provide a broad overview of SharePoint in the context of internal comms, from aligning SharePoint with your existing comms strategy to ways in which it can enhance collaboration and governing its usage.

Please note, this is not a technical course. If you require something more in-depth, our Advanced SharePoint for internal communicators may be more suitable.

Who should attend and why?

This course takes a business-led rather than technological approach, and aims to provide a sufficiently broad overview for those that are:

  • New to using SharePoint
You’ll return to work with the confidence to approach and integrate SharePoint with your existing comms strategy
  • Evaluating SharePoint as a potential intranet platform
Get sufficient knowledge to make an informed decision about its suitability for your communications approach.
