Q: Where can I find a map and venue details?

Q: How do I get there by car?
A: Taxi from any Sydney location:
Tell the driver to take you to "Number 1 O’Connell Street, in the city." Take the elevator to Level 6.

The Intranets and Social Media Workshops will be held in Theatre 3 on all three days.

The UNSW campus is also used by MGSM so some signs may read MGSM

From Sydney airport by car:

  1. Follow signs to the Eastern Distributor and take it into the city. There’s a $5.00 toll shortly before you exit.
  2. Take the “City North” exit.
  3. Cross the Macquarie Street intersection at the first traffic light after you exit, and continue on Bent Street.
  4. Take the third left onto O’Connell Street.

Car parking
UNSW has discounted rates available at the Sofitel Wenworth Hotel (entrance Bligh Street). However, you will need to collect a voucher from the reception desk prior to parking.

By Train
The closest station is Wynard Station

  1. Go to Wynard Station, and exit on George Street.
  2. Cross George Street at Hunter Street.
  3. Walk to O’Connell Street on the left.

Walk up O’Connell Street to No. 1 on the left at the next intersection.

Q: What time does the training courses begin?
A:Registration for each day event begins at 8:30am for a 9am start.

Q: What time does the Social Media Workshop finish?
A: Each day will finish at 5pm sharp.

Q:Can you recommend any hotels around the UNSW venue?
A: Please contact Melcrum directly on 02 8249 8352 for Hotels in the area.

Q: What happens if I haven’t paid before the event date?
A: You will be required to make payment before the event. If you have paid a few days before, please bring a copy of proof of payment to ensure you are permitted entry. Those who have not paid will be asked for a credit card guarantee before entry is permitted.

Q: I have special eating requirements, who should I inform?
A: Please see the dietary requirements form. Please print this and fax it back to Amy Lyons 02) 8249 8331. Special arrangements will be made for you once we are informed.

Q: What happens if I can’t make it at the last minute?
A: You may substitute delegates at any time. For cancellations received in writing more than thirty (30) days prior to the event, delegates will receive a credit redeemable against a future Melcrum event. For cancellations received less than thirty (30)days prior to event, no credits will be issued.

Q: Can a colleague attend in my place?
A: Yes this is fine; please inform us of the names of those not attending and the person who will be attending in their place.

Q: Will I receive confirmation in the post?
A: Your invoice for the event will be sent in the post however confirmation of attendance will be sent via email.

Q: When will I receive my delegate pack?
A: Your delegate pack will be handed to you upon registration at the event.

Q: What do I need to bring with me?
A: Melcrum will provide you with the correct writing materials as well as a delegate pack. All venues that Melcrum use have air conditioning in the rooms. If you are sensitive to air conditioning please bring the appropriate clothing.

Q: What is the dress code?
A: This is business casual.
