Drawing on recent Melcrum research and the most popular content from the successful Internal Communication Black Belt Programme, this 1-day workshop will enable you reflect on the contribution you are making to your business and identify opportunities to add more value for your internal customers.
The workshop will cover:
- How can internal communicators add their best value? What do CEOs and senior stakeholders expect from their communication teams, and where do they see us falling short? What are the skills needed by an outstanding internal communication manager?
- Linking communication plans to business objectives. Take away simple, practical tools to help your team or stakeholders identify business needs and set clear, measurable, business-linked communication objectives
- Strengthening the connection with your people. How can we learn from marketing and media approaches to segmentation? How are segmentation principles being used by internal communicators?
- Employee engagement – an opportunity seized or lost? What are the fundamental differences between communication and engagement, and where are you positioning your approach?
What you’ll gain from the day:
- Insights from Melcrum’s global research into best practice internal communication practice.
- A taster of 2 sessions from the popular Internal Communication Black Belt Programme – the training course for internal communicators.
- An opportunity to reflect on the contribution you and your team are making to the business and how to make even more of a difference.
