Q: How do I get there by car?
A: On exiting the airport on General Holmes Drive, follow sign posted directions to the city which will bring you into the CBD via the M2 freeway. Take the City North exit. Turn right into Macquarie Street and head north. Turn left into Bridge Street and then take the third right into Loftus Street, then the first left down Reiby Lane and finally left again into Pitt Street. The Hotel is situated on the left hand side.


Q: How far is the venue from Kingsford Smith Airport Sydney?
A: 35 minutes via taxi or public transport from Sydney's Domestic and International Airports. Estimated taxi fare: 35.00 AUD (one way). Unfortunately, this hotel does not provide shuttle service.


Q: How much does the hotel charge for parking?
A: On-site parking, fee: 17 AUD hourly, 35 AUD daily
Valet parking, fee: 35 AUD daily


Q: Does the Sydney Harbour Marriott offer delegates a preferential rate?
A: Yes! Melcrum has arranged a preferential rate of AUD $240 per room, per night at the venue. This offer is only valid until 28th April 2008 and is subject to availability. Accommodation for the Employee Engagement conference is delegates own responsibility. However, Melcrum are happy to assist with any questions or queries you may have about the area.


Q: What time does the event begin and finish?
A: Registration for the conference begins at 08:30 on both days. You will be supplied with your badge, documentation pack and any other materials at this time. Please ensure that you arrive on time and ready for the programme to begin at 09:00. The conference is scheduled to finish at 5pm sharp on both days.


Q: Will I be provided with all meals?
A: Yes, included in the price is morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea on both days.


Q: What happens if I haven't paid before the event date?
A: You will be required to make payment before the event. If you have paid a few days before, please bring a copy of proof of payment to ensure you are permitted entry. Those who have not paid will be asked for a credit card guarantee before entry is permitted.


Q: I have special eating requirements, who should I inform?
A: Please see the dietary requirements form. Please print this and fax it back to Amy Lyons on +61 (0)2 824 98101. Special arrangements will be made for you once we are informed.


Q: What happens if I can't make it at the last minute?
A: You may substitute delegates at any time. For cancellations received in writing more than thirty (30) days prior to the event, delegates will receive a credit redeemable against a future Melcrum event. For cancellations received less than thirty (30) days prior to event, no credits will be issued.


Q: Can a colleague attend in my place?
A: Yes this is fine; please inform us of the names of those not attending and the person who will be attending in their place.


Q: Will I receive confirmation in the post?
A: Your invoice for the event will be sent in the post however confirmation of attendance will be sent via email.


Q: When will I receive my delegate pack?
A: Your delegate pack will be handed to you upon registration at the event.


Q: What do I need to bring with me?
A: Melcrum will provide you with the correct writing materials as well as a delegate pack. All venues that Melcrum uses have air conditioning in the rooms. If you are sensitive to air conditioning please bring the appropriate clothing.Your invoice for the event will be sent in the post however confirmation of attendance will be sent via email.


Q: A speaker's presentation is different to the one in my delegate pack, will I get an update?
A: All authorised presentations are placed on a post event website. The details of this will be emailed to you within 14 working days after the event.


Q: What is the dress code?
A: This is business casual.
