Conference Producer, Melcrum

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team to develop and produce a range of conferences and training. You will work closely with our editors, content experts and customers to determine hot topics based on research. Reporting into our Head of Content, you’ll be working as part of a global team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver market leading events
• Work closely with Head of Content and Head of Events to generate new ideas and topics, contributing new event product ideas
• Researching the market and make business decisions on conference/training viability
• Capture high level industry speakers and develop future trainers
• Shape conference/course programmes and have overall content sign off
• Brief internal teams to support marketing and sales efforts

A successful candidate will possess:

• Proven production experience in B2B conferences
• A solid understanding of the conference process
• Ability to spot new commercial opportunities and be confident in liaising with all areas of the business
• Proven track record of excellent speaker acquisition and research skills
• Ability to identify market needs and successfully deliver against these

Desirable experience:

• Transferable commercial knowledge would be preferred
• A strong research background
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and use initiative
• Multi-tasking - ability to handle a number of projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of multiple platforms – training, online events etc.
