"Congratulations go to all the winners of the SCM Awards. Our mission has always been to showcase and celebrate teams and individuals who, through the use of strategic internal communication, have made a positive difference to business results.
The judges and I have been overwhelmed not just by the number of entries, but also by the extremely high standard of the work shared with us. This is tough work and the challenging economic environment is making it tougher. It’s clear that many communicators have raised their game and for that I congratulate them."
Richard Veal, EMEA communication and change practice leader at Towers Watson, said:
"In the struggle to survive and prosper, employers who recognise how to use communication to support the business agenda are the ones who stay in front. The strength and variety of this year’s SCM Awards entries demonstrate this at many levels.
I have been deeply impressed by the standard, variety and commitment demonstrated by our industry. It’s clear the communicator has a central role to play in the prosperity of today and tomorrow’s organisations."
