Ordering products online

1. Can I purchase individual articles or issues?
No, individual articles are only available to subscribers to our periodicals.

2. How do I renew my subscription online?
Once you've logged in, you will need to click on the ‘My Account’ link in the top menu. From here, select the ‘Purchase History’ link and you will see a ‘Renew’ option next to your subscriptions.

3. Can I reproduce articles on my own site or in my own publication?
It is possible to republish our articles, subject to our approval. For more information, please contact info@melcrum.com, indicating which material you would like to reprint.

4. Will my personal information be secure?
We take your privacy very seriously at Melcrum. We will only ever share your details with third parties with your express permission. We will never rent your email address to any third parties. When you register to use our site, Melcrum will ask you to provide your name, organization, email address, and other information. We use that information to provide you with a more personalized online experience and to process orders, as well as to keep track of which topics are of interest to our readers.

5. I received a special offer, but when I go to site I can't find it.
Our special offers can only be activated through the link in the email or letter you received. Most offers are time-sensitive, so it's possible that very old offers will no longer exist. If you have any difficulties, please email us at customerservice@melcrum.com.

6. I am trying to purchase a product online, but my credit card has been rejected.

7. Can I be invoiced for my subscription?

8. I have just purchased an item from your website. When will it be delivered?
All online versions of products available for purchase from Melcrum Publishing are in PDF format. If you have ordered an online product from our Web site, it will have downloaded onto your computer at the time of purchase - usually onto your desktop.

In case of any difficulties, you can download the product again at any time by entering your User ID and password in the right-hand column and clicking ‘My Account’, then ‘Purchase History’.
Print versions of products will be delivered to you within 7-10 days.

9. Why is Value Added Tax (VAT) applied to my order?
VAT applies to all EU-based customers attending events in the UK or purchasing online products sold from the UK.

10. Do you offer a student or academic discount?
We don't currently offer any discounts for students or members of the academic community.

11. Will I receive a receipt for my purchase?
All of our transactions are processed online via WorldPay's secure payment processing system. A receipt will be sent direct to your preferred email address as soon as your payment has been processed.

12. What do you charge for shipping?
US/Canada: US$40, Within Europe: EUR35, Rest of World: GBP35, UK: GBP8.50. There are no shipping charges for our subscription titles.

13. What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your subscription at any time, no questions asked. For more information, email customerservice@melcrum.com.

14. What is your returns policy?
Print publications
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for whatever reason, you can return the item in its original condition within 14 days of the date of purchase for a full refund, less shipping charges. If the item was shipped in error, a full refund will be made. A newsletter subscription can be cancelled at any time and any refund will be based on the number of unmailed issues.

Downloaded publications
If you are not completely satisfied with any downloaded items you should contact us within 10 days of the date of purchase to cancel the item. If you lose or accidentally delete any purchased publication, we will resend them to you at no extra cost.

Site licenses
If you are not completely satisfied with your site license you must inform us within 10 days of the date of purchase to receive a full refund. After this time you must give 30 days notice in writing before the subscription period expires. If you have any difficulty accessing, downloading or reading any of the electronic files, please contact us immediately.

Workshops/conferences
For cancellations received in writing more than 30 days prior to the event, delegates will receive a credit redeemable against a future Melcrum event.  Alternatively, a substitute delegate from the same company can be named at any time before the event begins. Melcrum reserves the right to make changes to the program, location and speakers without prior notice. In the unlikely event of the program being cancelled, Melcrum will automatically make a full refund but disclaim any further liability.
