Using SharePoint to turn the intranet into a value-adding tool

February 9th, 2010 By Kelly Dyer, Editor
kelly.dyer@melcrum.com

When it comes to intranets, one of the questions we get asked time and again is "How good is SharePoint?"

It seems that this particular platform comes with a multitude of pros and cons (as illustrated by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia's article in the latest issue of Strategic Communication Management) and as well as being a great enabler in the quest for achieving organizational goals, it can also be a source for potential blocks.

In this article on the Internal Comms Hub from Concentra, learn how the British Standards Institution (BSI) used SharePoint to increase the popularity of their intranet among employees.

You can also discover the highlights of SharePoint, why migration needn't be the headache everyone assumes it is and how it can boost your ROI.

Until next time,

Kelly Dyer

P.S. On April 22nd in London, we're running a one-day professional development course covering SharePoint from a business-led approach. There are still some places available so find out more and book your place today.
